The board of Nordjyllands Historiske Museum.

Nordjyllands Historiske Museum is a self-governing institution with a board consisting of 12 members:
Six elected as political representatives from the municipalities subsidising the museum (three from Aalborg, two from Mariagerfjord and one from Rebild), four representatives from the associations in the board of representatives and two representatives elected by the employees.

Nordjyllands Historiske Museum has a professional staff to cover all historical main periods: ancient history, the medieval age, modern history and most modern history.

Survey and GIS (Geographic information system) functions are also carried out by our professional employees who also sell their services outside the museum. 

The museum has its own preservation department, but it also buys preservation from "Bevaringscenter Nordjylland".
Employees can be found either by searching their department or function.

Against presentation of member card/membership from one of the cooperating associations under Nordjyllands Historiske Museum, you will get 10 % discount on your purchases in the museum shops. In addition, you will get admission to the different museums according to valid rules.

A membership of one of the above associations will furthermore imply an annual ticket which will be issued by Nordjyllands Historiske Museum and distributed by the associations.

Against presentation of a valid annual ticket from Nordjyllands Historiske Museum, you will get free admission to all museums except Vikingecenter Fyrkat and Lindholm Høje Museet where the admission fee will, however, be reduced.  The ticket is valid for 2 persons.

Folkeuniversitetet and De Samarbejdende Kulturelle Foreninger in Aalborg.
Together with these institutions, Nordjyllands Historiske Museum will make 10 annual presentations, 5 in the spring and 5 in the autumn.

Free admission will be achieved if you are a member of one of the associations, which include:
