Mariager Museum is established in a cosy merchant's house, 300 years old, in the centre of the old convent town.
The collections of the museum originate from the areas south of the inlet of Mariager Fjord and include a grocery store from the 1930ies, a unique barber's shop, a row of living rooms including a peasant's living room from the end of the 18th century as well as kitchen utensils from three centuries.
In addition, you will find minor exhibitions on the church and convent of Mariager and of local peasants' clothes.
